Sand casting is used to make large castings and once off samples for testing before a steel die is made.

Molten aluminium is poured into a mould cavity formed out of sand. Sand casting is an economical process for creating rough metal parts.
Raw castings are then machined into finished products or components. All waste sand is removed from the premises for environmental control.
